Seachems Flourite porous gravel ... is a specially fracted stable porous gravel for the natural planted aquarium. Although it may be mixed with other gravels, Flourite Black Sand is best used as an integral substrate bed. Any mixture should be at least half flourite. Gravel modifiers such as laterite are not necessary. Seachems Flourite is not chemically coated or treated. Although pre-washed, it should be rinsed before use to remove residual dust. Slight initial cloudiness is normal and will clear rapidly. Recommended use is 1 kg for about each 200 cm2 (31 in2) of tank bottom.

Avaiable in:: Flourite,  Flourite Dark, Flourite Black, Flourite Sand, Flourite Black Sand, and Flourite Red.

To determine the number of bags required for your aquarium, please note that each bag (7 kg, 15.4 lbs) occupies a volume of approximately 4,250 cm3 (260 cu. in.). To determine your desired volume multiply tank width by length by desired depth.

Directions

Although it is pre-washed, because Flourite® is a natural product, it may become dusty in transit and require rinsing before use to remove any residual dust.
