A small loricariid growing to a maximum of 3 inches, the clown L104 pleco is attractively coloured, with striped patterning.
Ideally they should be kept in tanks with driftwood and vegetation, as this comprises a large part of their diet, but they may also accept commercial flake, pellets, live and/or frozen foods that they come across.
They are fairly shy plecos that stick to chosen territories, and do well in peaceful community tanks.
