Common name: Rusty Cichlid, Lavender Mbuna.
Rusty cichlids can grow up to about 11 cm. Juveniles and females are rusty brown color, while mature males have lavender purple hue.

Males generally achieve 4"(10cm) maximum and females remain slightly smaller
